One of the most revolutionary teachings of Jesus was when He explained to His followers that “whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” This is why one of our priorities at Tree of Life is to envision and equip every one of our students to SERVE GENEROUSLY in their community. We pray for God to give each student a vision for those around them, and a heart to sincerely love their neighbors, both those inside our community here at Tree of Life, and also outside of our walls in the city of Columbus. To this end, we have a community service requirement of 20 hours per year for every student in our High School. Since our desire is to be a light to our local churches and neighbors, our preference is for at least half of these services to take place in spaces outside of the family and the school. (*Please note that hours performed in the summer can be applied to either the previous years requirement or the one to come)
